Check your device

Make sure you're using a compatible Samsung and iPhone model with the latest software update installed. To update your software:

iPhone: Go to Settings --> General --> Software Update
Android (Samsung): Go to Settings > About phone > Software updates
- You may need to do several updates if your device is not updated regularly

Check your SIM

Still on an older SIM and the 5G network is not taking? Visit any store for a free 5G SIM.
Set your network 
Go to your device settings and select 5G as your preferred network.

5G is live in 43 active sites. Outside these areas, you'll connect to LTE. See the map above.

No extra cost

5G is now included at no extra cost in all Hybrid and Postpaid plans. No plan change is needed, but you may want more data: faster speeds can mean more activity and higher-quality video and audio. Prepaid 5G is coming soon.
